Privacy Policy for Piggy — Earn Screen Time
Effective date: June 2026 Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AIRA PRODUCTS LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Piggy — Earn Screen Time mobile application (the "App"). Piggy is a family tool that lets children earn screen-time credits by completing chores that a parent or guardian reviews and approves.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who this policy is for
Piggy is designed to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian ("Parent"), who creates a family and invites a child's device to join. A Parent agrees to this policy on behalf of themselves and any child ("Child") whose device they connect. Parents are responsible for supervising their Child's use of the App.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what the App needs to function. Specifically:
Account information. - For a Parent: an email address and password used to create and sign in to an account, plus a display name and a chosen avatar. - For a Child: the App creates an anonymous account that is not tied to an email address or password. We collect a display name and a chosen avatar that the Parent or Child provides.
Family and chore activity. Information you create while using the App, such as family membership, chores and their settings, completion records, denial reasons, and screen-time credit balances and transactions.
Chore verification photos. When a Child marks a chore complete, the App captures a photo as proof and uploads it to private storage so the Parent can review it. These photos are deleted automatically once the Parent approves or denies the submission. We do not retain chore photos after review.
Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store the device token issued by Apple Push Notification service so we can send alerts (for example, when a chore is submitted or approved).
Technical information. Basic information necessary to operate the service, such as the device identifier associated with your push token and timestamps of activity.
3. Information we do NOT collect
- Screen Time / Family Controls data stays on the device. Piggy uses Apple's Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks to set and enforce app limits. The information about which apps are installed or used, and the limits applied, is handled on-device by Apple's system and is never transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
4. How we use information
We use the information above only to: - Create and maintain accounts and family connections; - Operate the earn-and-spend loop (submit chores, let Parents review them, award and redeem credits); - Send notifications you have enabled; - Keep the service secure and prevent abuse; - Comply with legal obligations.
5. How information is stored and shared
We use Supabase as our backend and hosting provider to store account, family, and activity data and to process chore photos for review. Supabase processes this data on our behalf as a service provider.
Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. If you purchase a subscription in the future, payments are processed by Apple, and we do not receive or store your payment card details.
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
6. Children's privacy
Piggy is intended to be configured and supervised by a Parent. We collect a limited amount of information about Children — a display name, an avatar, chore activity, and chore-verification photos that are deleted after review — solely to provide the App's core feature. A Parent provides consent for this collection when they create the family and connect a Child's device.
We do not knowingly collect more personal information from Children than is necessary to operate the App, and we do not use Children's information for advertising or sell it. A Parent may review, request deletion of, or stop the collection of their Child's information at any time by contacting us or by deleting the account (see Section 8).
If you believe a Child has provided us information without appropriate parental involvement, please contact us at team@pathapp.net and we will delete it.
7. Data retention
We keep account and family data for as long as the account is active. Chore-verification photos are deleted automatically upon approval or denial. When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and deletion. You can delete your account, your family, and all associated data — including every connected Child's account, chores, credits, and photos — at any time from within the App under Settings → Delete Account. You may also request a copy or deletion of your information by contacting us at team@pathapp.net.
- Notifications. You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
- Camera. Chore photos require camera access, which you can manage in your device settings. Declining it will limit the chore-submission feature.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information. We honor these rights where they apply.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App where appropriate.
